Regional Management Committee (RMC): Complete Duties & Roles (2011)

• Provides leadership and growth training for chapters within region;
• Works with Districts and chapters in formulating Regional Operating Plans;
• Oversees operation and effective management of MindSET program within the regional boundaries;
• Addresses all issues related to the operation of MindSET activities within the regional boundary;
• Reviews MindSET proposals received from chapters, and makes recommendations to the NMC;
• Tracks the timely submission of chapter reports, and follows up with tardy chapters;
• Encourages and supports the development of MindSET programs within the region;
• Works with District Directors to achieve required outcomes;
• Works with and makes recommendation of District Directors who are willing to serve at NMC level;
• Participates in Saturday Engineering lab presentations organized by the chapters;
• Makes presentations to parents during the parent development sessions;
• Assists in identification of local business partners.
